Powerful New Track “Freeze Tag” Highlights Issues Between Law Enforcement & The Black Community

"They told me put my hands up behind my head, I think they got the wrong one."

Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper, 9th Wonder, Kamasi Washington, and Phoelix all came together to share a message about the terrible relationship between law enforcement and the Black community.

As we all are witnessing, we are still actively participating in the largest civil rights movement in history, Black Lives Matter. Though George Floyd was the tipping point, these issues can go back as far as 1955 with the Emmitt Till case, but that doesn’t mean that’s is when these problems started.

On June 25th, the artists took to their social media accounts to announce the release of their single Freeze Tag which is apart of a larger project called Dinner Party that is set to release on July 10th on all streaming platforms. The song has already accumulated over 390k streams on Spotify and is climbing higher and higher as the days go by.
